Dean Nixon
Event Facilitator / Value Based Life Coach

Dean has a remarkable ability to connect with people and puts his heart and soul into making each session and event a life-enhancing journey. With more than 20 years experience in the mental health and addiction industry, Dean guides individuals in a safe, non-judgmental environment. His attitude helps create balance, provides personal development, and serves as a catalyst for success, growth and healing. He values helping people connect with their true self, giving individuals the tools they need in order to move forward. Dean's down-to-earth attitude makes him easy to identify with and his unconditional acceptance of people puts them at ease.

Leah KrispinDean has been instrumental in the creation and success of several local treatment centers specializing in adolescent treatment, substance abuse recovery, emotional management and life coaching.

Dean's desire to help others resulted in the creation of "The Value Based Parenting" classes, workshops, and CDs, giving parents knowledge and tools to motivate their children using love for a mindset; it is a positive and affirming way to teach healthy boundaries, which children will use to govern themselves as they get older. Pou WrightBorn and raised in Utah, Dean enjoys spending time with his wife and children, rock climbing, fishing, camping, and riding his motorcycle.

Seminar Coordinator / Team Leader

Looking to relieve her emotional pain and discomfort, Leah turned to TurningLeaf Emotional Growth Seminars in 2008. Leah found strength, and courage to continue on her journey, and now is passionate with helping others to do the same. The beginning of 2013, Leah officially became apart of the Seminar team as a Seminar Coordinator.Teri Iverson In between Seminars, Leah enjoys being part of the office staff, and assisting in adult and teen workshops and teaching our parenting classes.

Originally a California girl, Leah, moved to the St. George area with her family while in high school. She later returned to Dixie State University to complete her education. She fell in love with the red rocks, great people, and community. She couldn't think of a better place to raise her three sons. Leah enjoys being involved with her boys sports, the Utah landscape, and spending time with her boys, family, and friends.
